Hurt so good......

I have always gone to the gym and have felt great after a workout. I really have gotten use to going and look forward to that time for myself. It just makes me feel good. Well, not so much this morning.......
I went yesterday morning as usual and it has been on my mind to try a spinning class. I see them in there peddling away to the music, the teacher is so pumped up and really pushes them to get a great workout. Well, after doing a few miles on the treadmill, I decided to join the group....let em tell you....my body hurts in places that it has not hurt since childbirth. These people are crazy!! I never knew you could do so much on a bike.
So, needless to say, I am not even attempting to go to the gym today. I am gonna plant my butt (after errands) on the couch and knit. Which oh yeah..I forgot to tell you..is my new hobby. I love it!! I am making a blanket and am so proud of myself.
Moral to the story..if you try spinning (which was great), do not do miles on the treadmill before ......

Happy Birthday Ella Grace

Well, I would like to introduce you to my Ella Grace. I have the privledge of spending my days with this sweet thing while her momma is at work. Well, she turned 4 years old this week.

Ella has very much become a part of our family, along with her her brother and folks. She is very much like my lulu so that should tell you how well she fits in!

After a great party at "Chicka fil-a", many presents and lots of screaming kids...she is now a big girl!!

Let it snow.......

Well, we thought that since it was February and 65 degrees last week that winter was on its way out...how wrong I was!

Mother nature dumped 4 inches of snow on us beginning last night with sleet and ice with another 1/2 inch of ice to follow with more snow.

Corey was the smart one who stayed inside..played game..watched movies. No, not Sarah Kate. She had to take a header into the snow and come up soaked! You could hear her laughing from the back yard into my kitchen! What a girl.

Well, they used another snow day so let's hope tomorrow they will be back in class and off my&$%&(&^%^*^*( (haha)

Oh, pray for tulips cause they are starting to come up and I am afraid too much of this and bye bye tulips!

This week in my Bible study, we discussed friendships. The author illistrated friendships as a whitewater class of friendships:


Class I: Acquaintance:flat water, but scenic and enjoyable.


Class II: A little history; a few riffles get the heart pumping.


Class III: Moderate history;moderate waves with some high and lows.


ClassIV: Major history; big water with plenty of highs and lows.


ClassV: Historic; together you've made it through the best and the worst water possible.





It made me think about all the sisters I have in my life. Some have been with me through the long haul and I am not sure what I would do without you in my life. Others I have only met and I am so greatful for what you add to my life.





The definition of a sister-chick is: a friend who shares the deepest wonders of your heart,loves you like a sister,and provides a reality check when you're being a brat. I am so glad to have sisterchicks that live down the road...across town...or many miles..because without all of you..my life would not be complete.

A Bite of Reality....

I don't know about the rest of you, but if one more reality show hits the air waves..I am gonna explode! I am so sick of re-runs and those reality shows.

I NEED MY GREY"S FIX....... yes, my name is Debbie and I am addicted to Grey's. It started about a year ago when my sister-chick Stacie made me watch it cause she talked about it all the time. That is when it began and now that the writers are on strike and I can not get my weekly dose....I am losing it. There really should be a support groups for times like these....

I really do not get reality shows. If you are dumb enough to go on tv and be hooked up to a lie detector..you deserve whatever happens to you. Kind of like going on Maury and finding you are a baby daddy. And of course every adult knows they are not smarter than a fith grader so why go on tv to prove it????

So, I really do not care if Meredith can not decide whether or not she wants McDreamy (I do if she doesn't!)..or if Izzy and George can not figure out what to do with one another...or if McSteamy has a crush on the ugliest female on the show(not getting that story line)..I WANT MY GREY"S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else feel the same way?????

A Giant Victory!!!!!!

I do not know about ya'all....but that was one of the best Super Bowls I have ever seen! Everytime Tom Brady was put to the ground was enough to cause celebration in my heart. I am not a violent person, but to see this Patriot team go down after having such a season just proves that you do not ever count an underdog out.

Kuddos to a team that played like a team and came out on top!! Oh yeah....it didn't hurt that he was a Manning!!!

Back to back super bowl winners by quarterback brothers who were nominated MVP!! And ya 'all wonder why I love em?!?!?!?

One question......when is the first game of the new season?????????

A dancing princess......

For some reason, there was no school today. A storm was suppose to come through, but we all lucked out and it was not as bad as thought.

LuLu and I are watching the 12 dancing princesses and of course, she can not watch the movie without dancing. This is one of my favorite things. I love to watch the twinkle in her eye...the smile on her face because those of you who know her, she really believes she is a princess. Buzz says I should not tell her she is, but I continue to do so. The world will be cruel enough soon enough in her life. So for now, let her dance...let her laugh and enjoy what life has to offer.

There is a new song out called stealing cinderella. It reminds me that some day a prince will come to the door and take her as his wife. So for now, she is my little princess and I will enjoy all she has to give.......
